Interprofessional Education (IPE) is when students from two or more health professions learn together during their professional education to mimic the team-based healthcare environment they will encounter in the working world. Elements of IPE are required by the accrediting bodies of many health sciences professional degree programs. For more information and resources about IPE, see the Interprofessional Education Research Guide.
