Established in 1932, Doheny Memorial Library is a main attraction of USC's University Park Campus.
As of August 2015, Doheny houses 496,700 books located throughout the library. This number changes regularly as the library acquires and removes books, or they go lost or missing.
The majority of these books are housed in the bookstacks located in the interior of the library. These books are arranged alphanumerically by Library of Congress call number, so it's most helpful to locate the book in our USC Libraries' catalog and consult the stacks map before searching for a book.
In the last fiscal year (2014-2015), Doheny had 36,255 in circulation rates, the highest of any library at USC.
