Instructors can re-post or "clone" a course from a previous semester to use for a current semester.  To clone a course:

  1. Log into ARES.
  2. Under Instructor Tools click on Previous Courses. A list of past courses you created will appear at the right.
  3. Click the course you want to clone. A detailed view of the course will appear. You may want to view this course to make sure it is the one you need to clone.
  4. Under Instructor Course Tools, click on Clone Course. You will be able to review the information for the course under Reserve Materials to Clone before you proceed. NOTE: you can uncheck items you do not wanted copied over to the cloned course.
  5. Click on the Clone Course button at the bottom to complete the process.
