Discretionary Funds

Discretionary funds are prepaid monies added to your USCard. You can use this money anywhere on campus and at selected locations in the USC Village. Discretionary funds are the only acceptable form of payment for printing in the USC Libraries.

Two ways to add funds to your discretionary account

  1. Use your credit/debit card online via the USCard Services website.
  2. At one of the three USCard Customer Service Centers. Cash or credit cards accepted.  Hours 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday.

If I don't have any discretionary dollars on my USC ID card can I still print in the Library?

No. If you need to print and can't add funds to your discretionary account, you can get a print card from Doheny Library (cash required). There are no print card machines in any other USC library.
