You can search for research articles by methodology type in a number of ways:

  • Start with the database PsycINFO. Select the Filters function, towards the bottom of the pate. Select the methodology type you need (e.g., qualitative study).

If the you are using database does not have this option, you can enter the methodology that you are looking for as a keyword in your search. For example, if you are looking for experimental designs on the topic youth depression, you can enter search terms: "youth depression" AND "experimental design".
