The Library provides access to Endnote Online via the database Web of Science. EndNote Online is a cloud-based citation management tool that requires an Internet connection for use and is available free to USC students, faculty, and staff.

  1. Click on “Products” in the upper right hand corner at the top of the Web of Science page.

  2. Select "EndNote" and then “Register.”

  3. Complete the User Registration (Note: Using your USC email address is not required.)

EndNote software is different than EndNote Online. EndNote software is a program that is downloaded and runs on your computer. It is available for purchase at a discount to USC users via the USC Computer Store ((213) 740-7692).

Comparisons between the features of EndNote Online and Endnote Software, as well as tutorials for how to use EndNote Online, can be found on the EndNote Guide.
