Keywords are the building blocks of your search - the core concepts of your research question. As you search, you may need to narrow your language and add additional keywords to find more relevant results. If you are not finding relevant sources, you may need to broaden your keywords by using less words and more general language.
Examples:
- Not ideal: What is best intervention for adolescents with an eating disorder?
- Better: adolescent and intervention and eating disorder
- Narrower: bulimia and cognitive behavioral therapy
- Broader: eating disorder and interventions
