Most databases in the library will generate an initial citation for you. It is important to double check the generated citation against a citation manual for the style you need.

Generating a Citation on the Libraries' Main Database

From the library's main database, locate the source you want to create a citation for. Click into the individual item, and under the "Send To" menu there is an option for "Citation." Click on citation and select the citation style you need. Double-check the citation, copy it, and format it as needed for your research project.
