The USC Libraries' subscribes to two video streaming services that contain training and mock therapy videos.
The Psychotherapy.net streaming video collection provides access to training videos in the field of counseling, psychotherapy, psychology, and addiction. The majority of the videos show therapists actually conducting therapy and demonstrating clinical skills, along with pre- and post-session discussion. Transcripts of all videos are included and the ability to make clips is available. Most videos come with a downloadable instructor’s manual.
PsycTHERAPY is a database containing more than 300 videos featuring therapy demonstrations showing clinicians working with individuals, couples, and families.
Additionally, the social work librarians have created a suite of how-to videos that demonstrate how to use some of our databases and other library services. You can locate those on the homepage of the Social Work research guide.
